Noeline also founded and runs Mayo Animal Welfare (MAW) from her home which she shares with a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, foxes, doves, a pine-martin, a goat, swans, ducks, hedgehogs and a whole

host of other animals that find their way to her door.  Noeline rescues animals that have been abandoned, cruelly treated or injured and cares for them ensuring they receive appropriate medical treatment.  She re-homes animals when she can and releases wildlife into their natural habitat after suitable treatment. Noeline established Mayo Animal Welfare in April 1994 and has received several small grants from the Department of Agriculture as well as raising funds locally.
